***Fall Fling WHITE MOUNTAINS 2017***
I KNOW THIS IS A LOT TO READ, BUT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO DO IT! ;)

FALL FLING 2017

***SIGN UP BELOW BY NUMBER IN YOUR PARTY***

Do not dilly dally in signing up, as we need these numbers for our bags and goodies, AND how much space to save for rigs. Thank you.

WHEN: October 5th-8th
WHERE: White Mountains

WHY: This is our semi-annual event for club members.

We have Planned rides, Corn hole tournament, Chili Cook-off (Friday), Raffles, Dinner
and just sitting around and visiting.

Another meet and greet get together Thursday & Friday?
Absolutely!
We will bring the corn hole boards.
There will be a $tournament$, sign up early. Friday is the tournament.
Winners (2) will win $40 ($20 each)
You all bring your chairs and drinks.
Snacks to share would be great!!
Meet at the sign in tent at 3:30 pm on Friday, for tournament *(Or Look for Bob White)*

SATURDAY DINNER 5:00 p.m.
Catered by: Our friends & sponsors: **The Wild Bunch Catering**
$20 per person (26.00 for guests of members)

Menu is: Ribeye Steak AND a Quarter of Pecan Smoked Chicken (yes, BOTH), Parsley Potatoes, Cowboy Beans and Honey Butter Biscuits.

Bring your own drinks and tables to share for those that may not have a table. Bring your own chairs and a DESSERT TO SHARE.

Deadline for dinner money to be in: SEPT. 23, 2017!
*** If mailed, give the mules enough time for delivery to get it to me on or before the 23rd! Thank you!***

RAFFLE & 50/50 Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and may be purchased at the membership meeting on Sept. 20th, sent with your dinner check,
or at the Event.
(Note, if purchased at Meeting, you will receive the raffle tickets when you check in at the Fling, with your dinner wristbands)
If anyone would like to donate something for our raffle, please feel free to do so. Contact any of the event committee members.

DIRECTIONS to Event From SHOW LOW:

Head east on E Deuce of Clubs toward AZ-260 N/E White Mountain Rd

Turn right at onto AZ-260 N/E White Mountain Rd

Continue to follow AZ-260 N/E White Mountain Rd 35.7 mi.

Turn right onto AZ-273 S 3.4 mi

Turn left onto Sunrise Ski Road 0.2 mi

Destination will be on the left at the top of the hill.

These are directions for ones having reservations at Sunrise Park Lodge.

RV & TENT CAMPERS, FOLLOW SAME DIRECTIONS ABOVE ONLY DO NOT GO TO LODGE!!
FOLLOW SIGNS TO CAMPSITE. APPROX. MILEAGE TO CAMPSITE IS 11 MI.

We will have signs at intersection of AZ 260 & AZ 273 for the RV & TENT Campers.

Rides will be posted SEPARATELY. Glenda Carlson will be our Ride Coordinator. Sign up for them as they become available. We will also have sign-up sheets at the event.

If wood is needed for bonfire, we will let you know. It will depend on weather conditions & instructions from Forest Services.

You may arrive WED. 10/4, but NO EARLIER! This is to give the event committee time to post signs and secure the area we have in mind. Please respect us! You may however, stay for 14 days total.

Thursday: No planned rides scheduled. Just meet and greet, snicky snacks, and practice Corn Hole.

Friday: Planned Rides, Chili Cook- off, (look for posting of Cook off separately, on this site), Club campfire? and Corn Hole Tournament.

Saturday: Planned Rides and Dinner by The Wild Bunch Catering served at
5:00 pm. followed by Club Raffle, by the campfire. (if we are allowed a fire)
Bring lighting you can share, as we will not have power.

Sunday: For those leaving on Sunday, please remember leave area same or better than you found it. Thank you!

Tents okay. Restrooms nearby. (toilet only) Would be quite a hike, but an ATV will help.

Rooms will be blocked, some adjoining, 70$ a night (includes tax). 2 queen beds. Tell them you are with the club.
If the 12 rooms are booked, hopefully, they will have more for us. BUT DO NOT DELAY IN BOOKING! THESE 12 ROOMS ARE THE MOST UPDATED. (new beds, tv’s, etc. and overlooking lake and beautiful Aspens). Also, the restaurant is close to these rooms. Indoor pool.

No pets left in rooms alone!!! You may take your pet to restaurant, order, then sit at tables outside of the restaurant, perimeter; inside of course. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy.
